Excellence: 
Lake County Virtual School offers access to high quality, technology-based education. Lake County Virtual courses may be used to satisfy graduation requirements, make up credit, or accelerate a program of study.

Students receive individualized instruction utilizing the internet, e-mail, telephone, instant messaging, online collaboration, and face-to-face teacher forums. The online format allows flexibility of time, and location while promoting the skills, attitude and self discipline necessary to succeed in the 21st century.  Lake County Virtual School provides a rigorous curriculum that will prepare every student for college and career.

Handbook: 
All students and parents of students considering enrolling in Lake County Virtual should read the Lake County Virtual School Curriculum Guide and Handbook that can be accessed here.  Valuable information including enrollment requirements, requirements to remain enrolled, a typical day in virtual school and other vital information is included.  Parents and students will have to attend an orientation meeting along with signing the student/parent acknowledgment form as a requirement of enrollment.

  • 2013 Stakeholder Surveys - Please participate!

    The Lake County School District and all of its schools are engaged in an ongoing continuous improvement process. All stakeholders are included in this process! The district invites all parents, students and staff members (including instructional, classified, professional managerial, administrative and all other staff members) to participate in an online survey now through May 13, 2013, as a part of this continuous improvement process.
