To improve student performance by projecting for the selection, purchase, effective utilization, and evaluation of instructional materials for teachers and students.

• Continue to monitor Instructional Materials Plan
• Purchase appropriate current textbooks and ancillary materials for every student in all core subjects K-12
• Provide inservice for orienting all teachers to new materials
• To evaluate the effectiveness of newly purchased adoptions
• Purchase supplemental or support materials as needed
• Continue to require a Textbook Manager at every school site to serve as a liaison between the district office and the classrooms.
